Pecan trees grown with SDI and limited water supply. There are seven
laterals between trees, which are 30 feet apart. Water supply is equivalent
to only 0.23 inches per day in an area that gets only 15 inches of rainfall.
A second benefit of the system is that orchard floor management is simple.
Note only a riser every 5 acres is above ground.
